It’s finally happened…I have decided on a name. I must apologise to my enthusiastic co-blogger, Chatterbox, for not getting my act together sooner and start blogging. Well, here it is, at last, my first post. The final decision on the name was made during a weekend away without the family (perhaps I should really add ‘on my own’ too before arousing any suspicions). Me, myself and I, a very interesting book (which helped contribute to the name) and a little suitcase. It was time for another city fix and get that magic pumping through my veins. Two years ago, whilst I was away on one such trip, I sent a text message to my husband hoping he’d share my joy and excitement, saying “I feel so alive” to which he responded “It’s very sad that you need all that to make you feel alive”! Bloody hell, misery guts or what? I turned off my mobile phone and decided that I would enjoy myself and ensure that I would FEEL REALLY ALIVE.
Before I went on my recent trip, Lucy Love made a couple of suggestions that I should sample some cocktails and look out for ‘uniform’. I have to admit that I have a soft spot for senior - ranking ‘uniform’. I promised Lucy Love that I would endeavour to bring home with me some cocktail stirrers as souvenirs, and perhaps even share them with my co-bloggers. (Mmm…imagine, a stirrer from a cocktail I shared with a senior ranking ‘uniform’…). I’ll let you know in my next post how I came up with my cheeky blog name!
